The Sterility
When do we talk about sterility?
It is considered that a couple can have sterility problems when after a year of having unprotected sex, pregnancy is not achieved.
Although in colloquial terms sterility and infertility are used as synonyms, they are two different terms. Sterility is the inability to get pregnant. Infertility is the inability to get pregnant, as in the case of repeat abortions.
Why is sterility increasing?
In our country, sterility affects 15% of couples of reproductive age. Of all these cases, it is considered that one third are due to male cause, one third to female cause, and the remaining third to both members of the couple.
